A former Zagreb concert management director is currently on trial for neglegence which resulted in close to a 1 million kuna (133,000 Euros) loss, after failing to take out an insurance policy to cover costs for a cancelled Rolling Stones concert which was scheduled to take place in the Croatian capital on 5 June 2006, reported Croatian daily newspaper Vecernji list.
Sasa Britvic, son of well known Croatian poet and songwriter Drago Britvic, as director of the management company organising the Rolling Stones concert, was obliged under contract to take out an insurance policy to cover costs in the event that the concert had to be cancelled for whatever reason.
Britvic used 1.35 million kuna (180,000 Euros) preparing the 2006 concert, but failed to take out the insurance policy.
